What are the steps in the injection molding process of liquid silicone rubber machine?

Injection molding silica gel, also called injection rubber, injection silica gel, LSR silica gel, AB silica gel, etc., is a two-component, highly transparent, high tear strength liquid silicone rubber. The operation process is to inject various silicone products from the injection molding machine, so it is called injection molding silicone.

　　 The following are the main steps involved in the injection molding process of liquid silicone rubber:

　　 1. The uncured liquid silicone starts in two containers, compound A and compound B, which are connected to the pump system. Barrel A contains the alkali-forming material, and barrel B contains the catalyst. The metering unit automatically releases the two substances and any pigmentation additives in a constant one-to-one ratio.

　　2. The molding machine can program and customize the automatic injection molding machine, and make the injection setting to provide the appropriate injection volume for each job. The pressure plate and the piston are aligned and the mold is closed, and the temperature, pressure, injection rate and cycle time are set according to customer requirements

　　 3. After the setting is completed, the LSR molding machinewill heat the mold to a suitable temperature and apply a suitable clamping force. The mold is closed in coordination with the injector, pump and supply of the machine. Then, the injection mechanism pushes the material into the mold and cavity.

　　 4. The combination of heat and pressure applied to the liquid silicone rubber will cure the material until it cures. After the cycle is completed, the mold is opened, and the parts and burrs can be removed automatically or by workers. Then, the mold is closed and the process is repeated.

　　 5. After removing the product from the mold, the post-molding process may include deburring, post-curing, inspection and packaging.
