Rubber injection molding is a production method in which the rubber material is heated through the rubber injection molding machine, and then injected from the barrel into a closed model under pressure, and vulcanized by hot pressing to form a product. The injection process is similar to plastic injection molding. In the rubber industry Also known as injection pressure, it is a promising advanced rubber product production method, especially the emergence of thermoplastic elastomers, which has opened up broad development prospects for rubber injection molding.

The characteristics of rubber injection molding: simple process, mechanization, high degree of automation, low labor intensity, short molding cycle, high production efficiency, stable product quality, less waste products, excellent mechanical properties of products, etc. However, the structure of the injection machine and the mold are relatively complex, the equipment investment is large, and the machining accuracy and maintenance requirements are high, so injection molding is suitable for the production of mass products. At present, it is mainly used for the processing and production of footwear and model products, such as: auto parts, industrial rubber parts, sealing rings, models with metal skeletons, vibration damping pads, air springs, etc.

Rubber injection molding process: divided into several stages such as preheating, plasticization, injection, pressure holding, vulcanization, and mold release.
